I also managed to beat two specimens of this Dolichopodid at the same time as the Syntormon specimens. I am pretty sure that the correct genus is Raphium, I have keyed these out as R. monotrichium, although I am not over confident with this determination. I must admit that I was not expecting to to disturb any Dolichopodids !
