Keroplatus testaceus?

Submitted by Graham B on

I'd be grateful for confirmation that I'm on the right lines with the ID for what appears to be Keroplatus testaceus. It keys out well but I'm pretty new to most diptera families so wary of bear traps. Photos uploaded which should show the important features for family/species

Location - found indoors early evening suburban environment but near hedgerow/mature quarry/gardens -  Mansfield, Notts 23/9/2022

Thank you in advance
